I spent 2009 beating cancer. After 9 long months I am officially in remission. Yeehaw! This year has been the toughest, scariest thing I have ever been through, but with the love and support of my incredible family, friends and my Grobies, I am looking forward to getting on with the rest of my life.

So stuff about me? Um, I love writing, theatre, music, tennis, scuba diving, sky diving, travel, drinking great wine, live gig, movie nights and sing alongs around the piano (usually fueled by a couple of wines). Wow I managed to make that sound like I am on some cheesy dating website?!

What else? I dive in shark infested waters and I jump out of planes, it lets me know I'm alive! I flew my first plane in 2008 and am totally addicted. I would love to get my pilots license. I laugh all the time, it makes me feel good! I'm passionate about life... as corny as it sounds, its not a dress rehearsal. We do it once, so do it well.

When it comes to Josh, I managed to sum it up pretty well in a thread and I probably won't be able to do so again eloquently, so I will just quote myself :

Most of my friends don't seem to get it, but that's ok. They can have their Brad Pitts, I am more than happy with my Josh. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I don't think its any one thing that he does.. sometimes, its his music and voice ...other times, its his sense of humour and his personality that rocks my world. Guess he gives me faith that there is a man out there for me, who can go to a Tool concert one week and Les Miserables the next. He's a wonderful anomaly.
