I spent 2009 beating cancer. After 9 long months I am officially in remission. Yeehaw! This year has been the toughest, scariest thing I have ever been
through, but with the love and support of my incredible family, friends and my Grobies, I am looking forward to getting on with the rest of my life.
So stuff about me? Um, I love writing, theatre, music, tennis, scuba diving, sky diving, travel, drinking great wine, live gig, movie nights and sing alongs
around the piano (usually fueled by a couple of wines). Wow I managed to make that sound like I am on some cheesy dating website?!
What else? I dive in shark infested waters and I jump out of planes, it lets me know I'm alive! I flew my first plane in 2008 and am totally addicted. I
would love to get my pilots license. I laugh all the time, it makes me feel good! I'm passionate about life... as corny as it sounds, its not a dress
rehearsal. We do it once, so do it well.
When it comes to Josh, I managed to sum it up pretty well in a thread and I probably won't be able to do so again eloquently, so I
will just quote myself :
Most of my friends don't seem to get it, but that's ok. They can have their Brad Pitts, I am more than happy with my Josh. I can't quite put my
finger on what it is. I don't think its any one thing that he does.. sometimes, its his music and voice ...other times, its his sense of humour and his
personality that rocks my world. Guess he gives me faith that there is a man out there for me, who can go to a Tool concert one week and Les Miserables the
next. He's a wonderful anomaly.
Air, Beastie Boys, Ben Folds, The Sleepy Jackson, Cake, Fleet Foxes, MGMT, John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Keane, Sublime, Muse, Faith No More, Kings of Leon,
Death Cab for Cutie, Tom Waits, Josh Groban (obviously), Ben Lee, The Postal Service, Gomez, Beck, Chet Baker, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Great Lake Swimmers,
The Black Seeds, Tool, Alice in Chains, The Killers, The White Stripes, Disturbed, Georges Brassens, Rufus Wainwright.... the list goes on. I joke to my
friends that my ipod contains everything from Mozart to Metallica. And it does!
Monty Python - The Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, The Life of Brian and anything made by Terry Gilliam. Stay, Jaws, Good Will Hunting, Half Nelson, ET, Lars
and the Real Girl, Life is Beautiful, The Shawshank Redemption, West Side Story, Stranger than Fiction, Dodgeball, Aliens, Remember the Titans, Anchorman,
Braveheart, Two Hands, Sweeney Todd.... too many to choose from really.... bit of a movie buff!

"Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on
the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's ok though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like
periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so
many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.. so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type.. I'm like, hey girl, magenta! and she's
like, oh, you mean purple! and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, no - I want magenta!" John Mayer
